BACKGROUND
Esv Ayodele Israel Olaiya is the Principal Partner of Dele Olaiya & Associates and a Licensed Realtor® with the Nova Scotia Association of Realtors® Canada, and an agent with RE/MAX Nova, Canada.
He holds a Mini MBA from the London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) and is an alumnus of the Pan-Africa University, Lagos Business School, Owners-Managers Program (OMP15), he also holds a certificate for Real Estate Finance from Massachusetts Institute of Technology Boston, USA.
Esv. Olaiya is a serial entrepreneur with businesses spanning real estate, consulting, construction, cement distribution among many other business interests. He holds memberships with various globally recognized professional bodies.
He is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers (NIESV) and a Registered Member of the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON). A member for the Council of Statutes and Government Relations Committee for the period 2022-2024 (The Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers).
A Fellow of the Certified Institute of Auctioneers (FCIA), also a Fellow of the Professional Excellence Foundation of Nigeria, a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC) and a member in the Faculty of Facility Management, Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers. He is also a Member, National Mandatory Continuing Professional Development (MCPD), a member of the THINK TANK Committee of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers.
He is also a member of Halifax Chambers of Commerce, Canada and a former member of Mandatory Continuing Professional Development ( MCPD)3, Member International Real Estate Federation.(FIABCI)and has attended both local and international trainings. Esv Olaiya is a Director at Triple C Company Limited.
As a fresh graduate of Estate Management, he kick-started his working career at the Bishop’s Court, a property firm situated in Lagos. He later joined Emefiele Ehi & Co., a professional Estate Surveying & Valuation firm and then crossed over to Demola Adetola & Co. another professional firm.
After his stint at Demola Adetola & Co, Esv. Olaiya, was employed as an estate surveyor at Jide Taiwo & Co. one of the leading Estate Surveying & Valuation firms in Nigeria, where he held sway and became Head, Letting Department at the Head Office in Lagos and, where he cut his teeth as a thorough-bred professional with a high level of integrity.
In search of his Golden Fleece and quest for new challenges, he resigned gracefully from Jide Taiwo & Co and joined Intercontinental Homes Savings and Loans Plc and was promoted as Head, Marketing, he was the Head of Marketing for 4 years and was nicknamed ‘Midas’ being the bulwark of the marketing division of the establishment with a knack for exceeding sales targets and registering ‘high net-worth’ clients with his usual broad smile and a snap of his fingers. On 24th December 2010, he resigned gracefully, to set up his own Estate Firm.
Esv. Olaiya is a skilled professional still in the prime of his age and career. He is happily married with children.
